Welcome to the Three Sisters Journey fundraising auction. By registering as a bidder and participating in this auction, you (“The Bidder”) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. The Nature of the Auction

1.1. This is a charitable fundraising auction conducted by Three Sisters Journey, located in Dan Pienaar, Bloemfontein, 9301. 1.2. All items listed for auction have been donated by third parties. 1.3. In accordance with Regulation 19(4) of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), this auction is exempt from professional auctioneer licensing as it is conducted for a bona fide fundraising purpose using donated goods.

2. Registration and Eligibility

2.1. To place a bid, you must be 18 years or older and registered on this website. 2.2. You are required to provide your Full Name, Mobile Number, and Physical Address. We do not require or store your National ID number. 2.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

3. “As-Is” Sale (Voetstoots)

3.1. All goods are sold “as-is” (voetstoots). 3.2. As these are donated items, Three Sisters Journey provides no warranties, guarantees, or representations regarding the condition, age, functionality, or suitability of any item for a particular purpose. 3.3. While we strive to describe items accurately based on information provided by donors, we are not liable for any errors or omissions in descriptions or photographs.

4. Bidding and Finality of Sale

4.1. Every bid placed is a legally binding contract to purchase the item at that price. 4.2. The highest bidder at the close of the digital timer shall be deemed the purchaser. 4.3. Three Sisters Journey reserves the right to withdraw any item from the auction or cancel a bid at its sole discretion if a technical error or dispute arises.

5. Payment Terms

5.1. Full payment must be made within 24 hours of the auction closing. 5.2. Accepted payment methods include [Insert Methods, e.g., EFT / PayFast]. 5.3. Ownership of the item only passes to the bidder once the funds have cleared in full into the Three Sisters Journey account.

6. Collection and Delivery

6.1. All winning items must be collected from our designated point in Dan Pienaar, Bloemfontein, unless otherwise stated. 6.2. If the bidder requires shipping, this must be arranged and paid for by the bidder separately. Three Sisters Journey is not responsible for any damage occurring during third-party transit. 6.3. Any item not collected within 14 days of the auction close, without prior arrangement, will be considered a donation back to Three Sisters Journey and may be re-sold without a refund to the original bidder.

7. Returns and Refunds

7.1. Due to the charitable nature of this event, all sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds will be issued. 7.2. Refunds will only be considered if an item is lost or destroyed prior to collection.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. Three Sisters Journey and its organizers shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage (direct or indirect) arising from the use of any item purchased through this auction. 8.2. Participants bid at their own risk.

9. Governing Law

9.1. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bloemfontein.
